STANDARD SPECIFICATION
CONSTRUCTION
The Somerset Oak range is manufactured using solid timber components over-veneered and edge lipped in oak. This construction assists the stability of the doors.
Supplied 'naturally presented' the doors are ready for finishing on site, with lacquer or stain finish.
Panels are raised and fielded with timber and over-veneered construction. Other sizes and styles can be made to order.
GLAZING
Somerset glazed doors are pre-glazed with toughened glass to BS6206:Class A. Glass is bevelled except on Somerset 6 Light, which is clear glass only.
FIRE DOORS
Fireshield doors are available in some designs, details available on request.
FACTORY FINISHING
Somerset oak doors can be supplied factory finished with a five year guarantee.
Clear lacquer: Add £125.00 per door.
DOOR THICKNESS
Imperial doors: 35mm (1 3/8").
GUARANTEES
Doors are guaranteed for two years against manufacturing defects.
