STANDARD SPECIFICATION

CONSTRUCTION
Performance 58 hardwood doors are mortice and tenon constructed using ex 127mm (5") stiles, for rigidity and security. Insulated panels are raised and fielded on both sides and bedded in mastic to ensure resistance to water penetration.

FINISHING
Hardwood doors are pre-treated with a base coat stain ready for on site finishing. Full details about finishing are available on request.

GLAZING
Glazed door designs are available with either clear or obscure glass. Factory glazing carries a 10 year guarantee to meet the requirements of the NHBC. Glazing is supplied with laminated rear face where Secured by Design specification is required.

OPTIONS
Factory Finishing - Mahogany, Golden Oak or Teak, with a five year guarantee.
Priming - Pre-primed ready for on site painting.

Performance 58 fibreglass door additional features:
Damage and dent resistant moulded fibreglass faces with oak grain textured surface.
Supplied with pre-primed faces in cream colour, suitable for stain or paint finish.
BBA approved Kerto laminated veneer core framing.
Expanded polystyrene core (EPS) for improved insulation efficiency.
Supplied with 38mm triple glazed units.
Optionally available factory glazed with clear, obscure or decorative bevelled glass.

STANDARD SPECIFICATION

CONSTRUCTION
The door is constructed with a Kerto laminated veneer frame surrounding a rigid core. Faces comprise of compression moulded fibreglass to provide a damage and dent resistant surface, the richly grained face design provides the appearance of a timber stile and rail door.

FINISHING
Fibreglass doors are supplied ready for on site painting or staining. The faces are cream coloured on delivery and can simply be wiped down prior to finishing with a stain or paint.

GLAZING
Glazed door designs are available with either clear or obscure glass. Alternatively sealed units featuring elegant bevelled edge decoration may be selected for fibreglass doors. Other designs are available. All glazing is factory fitted, with units guaranteed in accordance with British Standard requirements. Factory glazing carries a 10 year guarantee to meet the requirements of the NHBC. Glazing is supplied with laminated rear face where Secured by Design specification is required.

OPTIONS
Factory Finishing - Deep grain stain and varnish finish in either Mahogany, Medium Oak or Light Oak effect, with a five year guarantee.

WEATHER PROTECTION
To ensure door and door frame provide adequate performance in exposed situations, it is recommended that a porch or canopy is installed. This is particularly critical with open in doors.
