High specification timber doors factory pre-glazed to meet the requirements of Building Regulations 'Part L'. Ideal for refurbishment, use with an exiting door frame where a thermally efficient timber door is preferred. Supplied primed as standard. Supplied with a plastic glazing cassette for enhanced weather proofing. Factory glazed with 24mm glazing units for improved performance and enhance security. Softwood material pre-primed. Insulated panel on feature and 2XG doors. Door thickness of 44mm (1 3/4"). Made in the U.K. STANDARD SPECIFICATION CONSTRUCTION Manufactured from softwood timber using dowel and glued construction, and supplied primed for finishing on site. Panels incorporate insulation material sandwiched between panel faces. Doors are pre-vac preservative treated and guaranteed for 30 years against fungal attack and rot. Optionally, doors can be supplied without priming, details on application. DIMENSIONS Door thickness: 44mm (1 3/4"). Mid rail is 910mm from the bottom of the door to the top of the mid rail. GLAZING All doors are temporarily factory glazed with 24mm double glazing units. Glazing is located using a plastic cassette, which is screw fixed in place from the inside of the door, thus improving security once decorated and in use. Plastic lugs hide the screw holes. The multi-pane appearance on SA-L and 2SA-L doors is created by 'plant-on' glazing bars. Please note that clear and obscure glazing options are not necessarily as illustrated in the catalogue photographs. Please refer to product description for full details. TIMBERLINE DOORSETS TimberLine doors can be supplied within the Premdor doorset package. Stormproof Secure is available for 'Secured by Design' applications. Standard doorsets include: frame, pre-hung TimberLine door of your choice, ironmongery, glazing from a selection of designs. GUARANTEES TimberLine feature doors are guaranteed for 10 years against manufacturing or material defects and thirty years against fungal attack and rot. Factory glazing is guaranteed for 10 years, meeting the requirements of the NHBC Buildmark scheme. This guarantee excludes temporarily glazed products such as direct glazed sidelights. Ironmongery performance is guaranteed for 2 years. WEATHER PROTECTION To ensure door and door frame provide adequate performance in exposed situations, it is recommended that a porch or canopy is installed. This is particularly critical with open in doors and pairs. PAIRS Pairs of doors are supplied rebated at meeting stiles with weather seal fitted, and open right hand pull first. OPTIONS Door frames. Face fixed weatherboards. 45179 = Softwood Fully finishing available in Poppy red, Oxford Blue, Buckingham Green and White. Sidelight frames are also available.
