STANDARD SPECIFICATION CONSTRUCTION Exterior hardwood french doors are supplied in component form for site assembly and finishing. Manufactured from selected hardwood, supplied fully machined and primed with Mahogany effect base stain, with dowel and glued construction, the door leaves are glazed. For the 1200mm wide module select one frame pack and one pair of doors. For the 1800mm wide system, add a single side panel and select the 1800mm frame. The doorset can be assembled with fixed panels on either the left of the right hand side to suit site requirements. For the 2400mm wide module select one pair of doors, two side panels, and the 2400mm frame pack. Pairs of doors have rebated meeting stiles to open outwards, right hand door to pull first, with weatherseals fitted to the frame and slave doors. Doors and frame are supplied for servicing on site. Lock and hinges are supplied for site fitting. Frames will need to be cut to size on site during installation. Please note that due to the doors' rebated meeting stiles it is not possible to fit espagnolette locking systems. DIMENSIONS Exterior french doorsets are 2074mm high. VENTILATION The doorsets are supplied without the facility for ventilation. GLAZING All doors and side panels are supplied with 14mm double glazed units in clear toughened safety glass to BS6206:Class A manufactured under kitemark licence. Each piece is marked to this effect. WEATHER PROTECTION To ensure door and door frame provide adequate performance in exposed situations, it is recommended that a porch or canopy is installed. This is particularly critical with open in doors and pairs. GUARANTEES Exterior hardwood french doors are guaranteed for 2 years against manufacturing defects.
