Hardwood Garage and Matching Feature Doors Fully retractable hardwood sectional garage doors, with matching feature doors available, for a lasting first impression. Retractable garage doors in four sections, with 35mm mortice and tenon construction. Solid timber construction with laminated raised and fielded panels, base coat stained, ready for final finishing. Optional, matching feature doors are supplied to the same specification as Traditional Hardwood Feature doors. Pre-drilled for locks and screw holes piloted to assist installation. Carolina garage door and feature door are glazed with glass toughened to the requirements of BS6206:Class A. STANDARD SPECIFICATION GARAGE DOOR CONSTRUCTION Hardwood garage doors are supplied in four sections which simplifies transportation. Once installed these sections are linked by a 'pinch proof' detail with bubble seal to the meeting rails of the sections. A hardware pack is required for each installation, within which are all the necessary components. Additionally, timber batons are supplied to fix hardware components inside the garage. These batons may require cutting to size on site during installation. All lock cut outs are prepared. Garage door frame is not supplied. Hardwood sections are supplied with base coat stain, and require prompt finishing to seal on site prior to installation. Panels are bedded in mastic. GLAZING Carolina garage door and matching feature door are supplied pre-glazed with 4mm obscure glass toughened to BS6206:Class A. DIMENSIONS Garage door thickness: 35mm (1 3/8") Feature door thickness: 44mm (1 3/4") GUARANTEES Hardwood garage doors and matching feature doors are guaranteed for 2 year against manufacturing defects.
