Optionally available glazed with decorative glass where illustrated. Solid ex 127mm (5") stiles for fitting of modern deadlocking systems. Hardwood panels - laminated for stability and bedded in mastic. Mortice and tenon construction. Glazing beads supplied as standard. Door thickness of 44mm (1 3/4"). CONSTRUCTION Traditional hardwood feature doors are manufactured to Premdor's own specification, using mortice and tenon joints. Stiles are ex 127mm (5") for additional rigidity. Large panels are solid hardwood laminated for stability. comb jointed and laminated for stability. Panels are raised and fielded on both sides and bedded in mastic to maximise resistance to water penetration. The doors are treated with a coloured harmonising base coat stain requiring full decoration prior to installation. BEADING Doors are supplied with bead packs as standard. GLAZING Acacia, Alicante, Carolina, Richmond and Tudor door types can be supplied glazed with the glass designs shown. Manufactured to BS6206:Class A for safety glass, the decorative design is achieved through applied colour film and leading. Doors are suitable for either single or double glazing, up to 14mm thick. WEATHER PROTECTION To ensure door and door frame provide adequate performance in exposed situations, it is recommended that a porch or canopy is installed.
