STANDARD SPECIFICATION
SOFTWOOD
Softwood panel doors are made from kiln dried materials to prevent distortion. The doors are supplied unfinished ready for either on site painting or staining (except 2XG and 44 where staining is not recommended, since panels may not colour match framing). Other sizes and styles can be made to order. Ply panels in 2XG are 6mm thick. FLB doors contain staple holes from the production process. These require filling prior to finishing.
HARDWOOD
Hardwood doors are supplied with an equalising stain and are ready for sealing and finishing on site.

GLAZING AND BEADING
Doors are rebated to receive 6mm thick glass. All unglazed products are supplied with beading as standard. SA doors are available glazed with either 6mm clear bevelled glass or 4mm clear glass toughened to the requirements BS6206: Class A.
Where shown, panel doors can be glazed with either clear, obscure or bevelled toughened safety glass. Add prices shown to price of door. When ordering please quote the product code for the relevant door adding the suffix: +PGC Pre-glazed clear glass,+PGO Pre-glazed obscure glass, +PGB Pre-glazed bevelled glass, +GWPP Pre-glazed Georgian wired glass. Other styles of glass are available, please contact Premdor for details.
PAIRS
Pairs of doors are supplied rebated at meeting stiles, and open right hand pull first.
FIRE DOORS
All Range Guide fire doors are compliant with British Standards and the BWF Certifire Scheme. See relevant Premdor data sheet for more details if required.
Fireshield: 2XGG rated, and should be glazed with Georgian wired or other suitable glass. Doors are supplied pre-fitted with intumescent strip and hardwood beads which should be bedded on intumescent material during glazing on site.
PLEASE NOTE: Single leaf fire doors are not to be used as fire door pairs.
