STANDARD SPECIFICATION CONSTRUCTION Matchboarded and redwood panel doors are manufactured from double vacuum preservative treated selected redwood. The doors are designed for painting. Components may be finger jointed. Doors are not suitable for internal use. Matchboarded doors are supplied with fixed braces and are not suitable for use as a domestic entrance door. Redwood panel doors are either mortice and tenon jointed, or dowel and glued jointed, with an 8mm ply panel on the redwood 2XG. FINISHING Doors are supplied ready for prompt site finishing. Exposed face knots should be sealed prior to decoration to reduce resin 'bleed' which may occur naturally but which is excluded from our guarantee cover. Matchboarded doors contain staple holes from the production process. These will require filling prior to painting. WEATHER PROTECTION To ensure door and door frame provide adequate performance in exposed situations, it is recommended that a porch or canopy is installed. This is particularly critical with open in doors and pairs. DIMENSIONS Door thickness: FLB: 44mm (1 3/4"). LB: 22mm/14mm (7/8" 9/16") Redwood panel doors: 44mm (1 3/4").
